Claudia Yoka, diplômée en sciences sociales, média et politique, puis en éducation, se forme également aux métiers du cinéma et devient réalisatrice, productrice, scénariste au Congo-Brazzaville et crée l’association Clapcongo en août 2002 pour la relance du cinéma congolais. Elle réalise, produit, coproduit des films dans son pays depuis 200O. Elle crée le festival du film des femmes africaines TAZAMA en 2014. Elle obtient sa certification en stratégie culturelle durant la pandémie covid. Elle a remporté plusieurs prix à travers le continent pour ses œuvres cinématographiques et a présidé plusieurs festivals internationaux notamment au Gabon et au Cameroun, mais aussi le festival international du film panafricain de Cannes.
Claudia Yoka, a graduate in social sciences, media and politics, then in education, also trained in the film industry and became a director, producer and scriptwriter in Congo-Brazzaville, creating the Clapcongo association in August 2002 to revive Congolese cinema. She has been directing, producing and co-producing films in her country since 200O. She founded the TAZAMA African women’s film festival in 2014. She obtained her certification in cultural strategy during the covid pandemic. She has won several awards across the continent for her cinematographic works and has chaired several international festivals, notably in Gabon and Cameroon, as well as the Cannes International Pan-African Film Festival.
