Synopsis
13-year-old Fidan gets accepted to a renowned high school away from home. However, it is not easy for Fidan to leave her younger brother and father who is lost in the shadow of sad events. Fidan’s decision at this crossroads will determine her future.
Fidan, 13 ans, est acceptée dans un lycée réputé loin de chez elle. Cependant, il n’est pas facile pour Fidan de quitter son jeune frère et son père qui est perdu dans l’ombre des tristes événements. La décision de Fidan à la croisée des chemins déterminera son avenir.
BIOGRAPHIE
After earning her degrees in Music and Theater at State Conservatories, she recorded with distinguished musi- cians and portrayed many significant roles as an actor at Dormen Theater. She earned her MFA at CalArts in ac- ting with a scholarship and appeared in numerous stage, film and TV productions in İstanbul, New York and Los Angeles.Her 2. short film “Topanga” won total 6 awards in global film competitions and film festivals including 2 Audience Awards for Best Short Film. Her new film Fidan is going to be her debut in Feature Film. She is also an educator, teaching acting for camera classes.
Après avoir obtenu ses diplômes de musique et de théâtre aux State Conservatories, elle a enregistré avec d’éminents musiciens et joué de nombreux rôles importants en tant qu’actrice au Dormen Theater. Elle a obtenu sa maîtrise en art dramatique à CalArts avec une bourse et a joué dans de nombreuses productions théâtrales, cinématographiques et télévisuelles à Istanbul, New York et Los Angeles. Son deuxième court métrage, « Topanga », a remporté 6 prix dans des compétitions cinématographiques internationales et des festivals de films, dont 2 prix du public pour le meilleur court métrage. Son nouveau film, Fidan, sera son premier long mé- trage. Elle est également éducatrice et donne des cours d’art dramatique pour la caméra.
