Synopsis
Ce film traite la migration et les conditions de vies et parcours des migrants africains en situation régulière ou irrégulière mais aussi des demandeurs d’asile politique. Pour mieux cerner le problème et tenter d’apporter des solutions ce documentaire donne la parole aux grandes institutions internationales par une série d’interviews (Union Européenne, Haut-commissariat des nations-unies, Association France terre d’asile, l’Oim et les institutions gouvernementales intervenant dans ce secteur), aux migrants de retour et sans papiers africains vivants sur les terres Européennes .
« Destiny of a Migrant » is a feature-length documentary that deals with migration and the living conditions and journeys of African migrants in a regular or irregular situation but also of political asylum seekers. To better understand the problem and try to provide solutions, this document gives the floor to the major international institutions through a series of interviews (European Union, United Nations High Commission, France Land of Asylum Association, IOM and government institutions intervening in this sector), to returning migrants and undocumented African migrants living on European soil.
BIOGRAPHIE
S’étant très tôt pris de passion pour l’art en général, M. OMAR BRAMS MBAYE a fait ses premiers pas au théâtre populaire, qui lui a insuffle le gout de l’écriture scenario. En 2011, il créé son agence de production WINCOM spécialisée dans la production de contenus audiovisuels et cinématographiques, qui lui a permis de réaliser plusieurs productions et séries court métrage soit 50 en 2011 et 60 en 2013 dont la toute première, avec 15 épisodes traitait de la TUBERCULOSE. Il a récemment sorti deux productions ; la première portant sur la dégradation de l’environnement par les déchets plastiques et un autre projet sur ‘Emergence’. Réalisateur engage a tout point de vue, toutes ses réalisations sont réalisées sur fond propre et la plupart des thèmes développe dans ses films visent à sensibiliser sur les violences faites aux femmes, sur le droit des enfants, sur l’immigration, sur l’excision et biens d’autres. Par ailleurs, le documentaire ‘MARIAMA’ qui est la seule femme rescapée du naufrage du bateau ‘le joola’ et biens d’autres documentaires réalisés par ce dernier témoignent encore une fois de son engagement.
Having developed a passion for art in general at a very early age, Mr. OMAR BRAMS MBAYE took his first steps in popular theatre, which instilled in him a taste for screenwriting. In 2011, he created his production agency WINCOM specializing in the production of audiovisual and cinematographic content, which allowed him to direct several productions and short film series, 50 in 2011 and 60 in 2013, the very first of which, with 15 episodes, dealt with TUBERCULOSIS. He has recently released two productions; the first on the degradation of the environment by plastic waste and another project on ‘Emergence’.
A committed director in every way, all his productions are made on his own background and most of the themes developed in his films aim to raise awareness about violence against women, children’s rights, immigration, excision and many others. In addition, the documentary “MARIAMA” who is the only woman to survive the sinking of the boat ‘le joola’ and many other documentaries made by the latter once again testify to his commitment.
